No one explains turns, cuts, everything about driving courses well better than you, and I think it’s really valuable for the community you doing this for the wider player base- so thank you 🙏

Just leaving a comment because the video was good and I want youtube to spread this to more people

Your content is 100% slept on. It's helped me improve at the game so much since I picked it up earlier this year, and I couldn't be more grateful!

When I realized the red arrow pointed the wrong way on the roundabout, my first thought was "Bayesic is going to LOVE this."

Well done conquering Rome. You did what Hannibal couldn't, and he had, like, one elephant. Keen to hear your thoughts on the last couple of BCP courses Mr Bayesic.

Oh boy I’ll be interested to hear what you have to say about rainbow road. I loved it, so I started TTing, and now all I see is the jank in the track

Racing the Staff Ghost kind of tricks you a bit since they take that mushroom cut you avoid for one of those groups of 3 coins.

Great video. What are your thoughts on wave 6 after playing it?
@Bayesic Жыл бұрын
Haven't spent a lot of time on all the tracks, but so far the only tracks I'm not really feeling are Wii Rainbow Road and Rosalina's Ice World

We’re off to a good start on the wave 6 training! The main section I have trouble on is the statue positioning on lap 1, but even that’s not so difficult to get the hang of. Thanks!
@MeesterTweester Жыл бұрын
Yeah getting to the left of that statue took a while for me lol

I had a *MUCH* easier (but by no means "easy") time learning the basics (not to be confused with the Bayesics featured in this video series, which are more difficult to learn and more valuable to know) of Rome Avanti than I did with Los Angeles Laps/Trash/Crap/Jank (any of these names are accurate for *that* course) and Berlin Byways. The second lap roundabout here is on L.A./Berlin levels of jank, and I think that's a fair comparison when factoring in that all 3 courses are real-world cities that were first featured in Tour.
@Bayesic Жыл бұрын
The city tracks in general are what I'd describe as "difficult to learn, not necessarily to execute" This one is both lol

I see you drive straight for a bit before drifting into a mini turbo trick in some ramps. Would it be faster to use that time to do a mini turbo into a trick or is the mini turbo trick faster than that?
@Bayesic Жыл бұрын
Mini turbo trick is faster than that
@DryAMPtDB Жыл бұрын
On 150cc at the boost ramp before the first shortcut (about 15-20 seconds in), I drift off the ramp and get a SMT. Is that any faster?
@Bayesic Жыл бұрын
That's what the WR does, and I think it is faster if you do it correctly, but it's really hard to do in a way that saves time
@DryAMPtDB Жыл бұрын
Oh ok. I’ve been doing that from the start of Wave 6 and in my mind, it was because “Less Air Time + a Bigger Boost” since SMTs give a bigger boost than Tricks. Thanks for Clarifying.

Which characters are the peachette clones?
@Luigi99997 Жыл бұрын
the characters that have the same stats as peachette are yoshi, daisy, peach and birdo (which are all better characters imo)

Rome avanti in italian has been translated as "Romantic Rome" and I really can't believe they didn't use this name in English
@drift3426 Жыл бұрын
Now that I think about it they must have forgotten to put right pointing arrows for that roundabout on lap 2. Tracks like Paris have arrows that are high up when you approach the piranha plant from the fast route so weird that Roma didn't have this

what?

The final wave of BCP edition Also I never look at the red arrows. I agree sometimes the city courses can have really unintuitive routing on your first few playthroughs. Though each wave I liked time trialing them to memorize the layouts, since after that changing routes all 3 laps makes the courses a lot more interesting than taking the same route each time.
@Bayesic Жыл бұрын
Yeah I was messing around with a preliminary track ranking and I realized I put a lot of the city tracks much higher than I thought I was going to
