Thanks for putting the effort to make this video. I would like to say, would you please show which strings you were playing on your right hand in the next video: I did not see how both hands were moving. You are doing awesome teaching guitar lessons. Keep it up.😊

The other thing my Brother I can play the chords and I can add some melody in between the chords or even replace some chords with all melody, but I feel sorry for myself it does not sound like rumba or Sebene. There is something we do not know please may you organize us a video on that as well. I think many of us would appreciate it.

Sure I will try my best to make more videos that will help you to know how you can actually play rumba or seben even when you don’t know how to.

My brother what you played is short but confusing may you explain what exactly you are doing. You play Chord C, then 10ths, then Chord F, are you going to G then another melody before going to back Chord C, Please may you explain nicely and slowly?
@africanrhythmguitaracademy11 ай бұрын
Hello, thanks for your comment. I understand your confusion, but did you watch the whole video until the end? I played fast in the beginning but then showed slowly how I was playing and what strings I was touching. Did you just watch the few seconds at the start or? And there, I am fist playing C Major(1) then I play the 10th intervals which sounds like F(4) but it’s actually D Minor(2) and then I go to G and come back to the actual F (4). So, I would say the progression is 1-2-5-4 (C-Dminor-G-F) but to make it simple you can just consider it as a 1-4-5-4 progression (C-F-G-F). Please watch the video until the end so you can understand everything.

Thank you my Brother for the quick reply at least I now understand, plus the fact that the melody has to sound like the 4th chord somehow. I did watch the whole video inthe slowest of speeds 0.25. @@africanrhythmguitaracademy

@forogonya-howcometoyou5727 no problem my brother, we’re together. And yeah, sometimes in most cases, you can play the 4th chord and it would still sound like a 2nd. For example in C Major the 4th chord is F Major and the 2nd is D minor. If you play the 2nd it would still sound as the 2nd. And yeah, if you have any idea of how I should be making the videos please feel free to share bro. Let’s keep growing together.

Now after the explanation you gave us, I got it now, whats left is to work on my speed and play it fast at the right tempo. Thank you.
