If you don't have a whammy, just apply pressure to the lower part if the guitar body past the puck guard under the neck and then apply pressure to the neck the opposite way

You pick the Note with your pick, and in the same Motion while hitting the String you also hit the String slightly with the Flesh of your thumb. If you hit the String with too much Flesh the Note gets muted and you wont get a pinch. Its only a Little touch
