Not gonna lie. When I saw the price of these on subispeed and I my first impression was, “HOLY CRAP! These are more expensive then the actual subispeed tail lights”!! But by seeing the process and labor to how these are actually made, it has seriously change my mentality of the price..... but still very $$$$$ lol or maybe I’m just poor idk xD. But GREAT video! Yeah man love the nerdy stuff!! Will need to go grab the program for a look n see how it works, does it allow you to preview the whole sequence as an animation on the computer? So you wouldn't necessarily need a preset circuit board like those c boards to start with you can just tell the program this is what it's going to look like in the end and program the sequence in? 😂😂 So many questions in the comments

What types of SMD LEDs do those boards use?
@isaiahashcraft55746 жыл бұрын
Those and all pixels are easy to control with a single controller and with way fewer wires. But then the problem lies in getting a multiple 12vdc triggers. I’m sure it could be done. Heck it may have been done. The thing the Ghozt controller accomplishes is controlling single channels of single colors. I’m sure with the right coding and chips it could be done easily. Unfortunately for me my coding and pcb building is amateur at best. Also finally found the SMDs.
@isaiahashcraft55746 жыл бұрын
Nicholas Brown I am always learning myself. And actually after doing some research I just now realized it has been done. And none other than Ghozt has done it. The have a separate controller called the BlueGhozt controller. Like I said before it’s probably already done and here’s proof. Lol. Here’s a link to their controller. www.ghoztlighting.com/product/blueghozt/
@isaiahashcraft55746 жыл бұрын
Nicholas Brown apparently they’re popular then. Lol. I’d contact them to see when they’ll have more in stock. See if maybe you could get put on a back order list of sorts. I would also see if you could get the app or software to play around with in the meantime. Try and get familiar with how the app/software works. 95% of your time is figuring out how the software works and what you can do with it. Installation is the easy part, relatively speaking...
@isaiahashcraft55746 жыл бұрын
Looks like it’s an App only device, which is slightly disappointing. I was hoping it would be more like the other software they have for the regular Ghozt controller mixed with a pixel/DMX type software. That may change in the future though since it’s V1. At least I hope it would if not for customer control then at least for installers. Still, having software at all is a major step. I remember looking at creating an app for another project I had ideas for and just to get the app in the App Store it would have cost $3-$5k and that was just to get the app placed in the App Store and certified by Apple. Wasn’t including the cost of the software development. Regular PC software development is also expensive.
