AOA , I am Aqeel from Islamabad. I want some guidance from your good self about the following: I am a user of Solarmax Onyx Series Dual PV 9000 (Single phase) Installed in December 2022 with NetMeeting (green Meter). Now IESCO has changed the Green meter with New AMI Meter (three phase). Is the above said Inverter compatible with New AMI Meter? Because New AMI Meter is showing a double daily consumption against the daily consumption of the previous green meter. For Example our daily consumption was 22-23 Units in off peak hours while now daily consumption is 45-46 units as per New AMI Meter. Please guide this matter, I am very grateful to you. Regards,

Wslam brother, As per SOPs and NEPRA rules only three phase inverters (On-Grid/hybrid) are allowed for net metering. But nonetheless let me answer your question.

Plz disable export settings from the inverter until your new AMI bidirectional meter is active for solar. Active meter shows 1.8.x and 2.8.x codes.

I think a single phase inverter would work with a 3 phase AMI meter as we have not received any such complaint. There are many who are using a single phase inverter though it's not allowed. As far as your daily consumption is doubled that could be an internal issue otherwise lodge a complaint to your sub division office.

After installation of solar system, Ami meter has been installed. Please advise if they come BI-DIRECTIONAL enabled. I can't see the export menu on the meter. Should I use the system assuming that the export is being recorded at the back end or wait till it is bi direction enabled and starts showing me the export menu. Thanks

You need to get them enabled from the sub division office. Usually they do it at the time of MCO feeding. Nonetheless your export units are being recorded from the moment it was installed.

Wslam. Reactive power is basically power which is consumed in capacitive or inductive load and measured in VARs. It doesn't do any real work. While actual power is the power which does real work and is measured in KW. Maximum demand is the maximum demand in KW consumed by the consumer over a period of time.

If it's the same one then i think export segments are not enabled yet. OBIS codes are universal and should be same in any meter. But there are some local meters where the codes might differ.

Sir 3 phase Ami meter has installed on my house made by kbk company. I have update it bi directional by requesting to SDO and now the aeros aprears but codes are not shown. SDO said in this kbk made meter only aeros aprears rather than codes. So please tell us where I read my export and import units in *kbk* 3 phase meter
