Thanks for the encouragement and the down to the earth words, Ron! Great video, show the use of the layers settings is a plus. Really like that part of you videos, going far and beyond to make it look right even when is not your cup of tea, it has helped our show tremendously.

Hi Ron, thank you for your videos. I am trying to learn how to sequence and this video was very helpful in focusing on a process of small steps instead of tackling the entire layout. My question is, how did you add those notes in the top line of the timing tracks? Where you noted verse chorus, etc. I would like to block my songs out like that to help me focus on the various sections. I appreciate your time!

Great Video, Do you mind sharing what the name of the song is that you used.

Thanks for the tips. I have never sequenced with timing marks ticked. Looks like a faster way to do it because it lines the effects up and looks like it auto bulk edits when multiple effects are selected without having to hit apply. Very interesting. I’ll have to give it a try. Do you ever sequence with timings ticked off and in which scenario would you choose one over the other?

I always have timing marks on when sequencing.

It's surprising how many simple things in xLights make such a difference in time management when sequencing.

I caught that and was thinking OMG, game changer. I've found it's little things in a bigger picture that is where we learn the most sometimes.

Great show! What kind of lights do you use for wrapping your trees and fence? Where did you get them? I like your show so much. I am looking at getting your sequence software. Your show is so good!

Thank you for this video. I was always curious how you manage to sequence a song that doesn't go along with the beat for $199. Brilliant!

Hello,Is it more advisable to upload music sequences to the SD card individually or as a single extended playlist, roughly 25-30 minutes long? Are there potential issues with the longer playlist?
@xTremeSequencesАй бұрын
No. You should be able to send everything at once. I had a sequence running at a large outdoor mall in Florida and pushed a sequence to the Pi and every controller with no issues. I was also able to push 40 sequences at the same time with music going tobtye Pi no issues.

@ thank you. this is individual or the extended playlist (will be done on audacity)?👍🏽

Is it just me? I could barely see the effects on the house preview and couldn't see at all, any of the length markers of any of the effects. Even went full screen on a big monitor and still couldn't see much. Everything was blurry.
@xTremeSequences2 жыл бұрын
Dunno. You may need to buy a $5k monitor to see it better. LOL! I would lower the resolution on your monitor and try again.

Thanks, I will add than next time. I had deliberately glossed over GPU interaction (to try and keep it simpler) but I like the GPU analogy "Alien Minions", I wish I had thought of that 😀
