I've had a machine for 30 yrs and its never been taken out of it's box!!!?? Moved internationally to a place where smocking wasn't a well known creativity. 🇦🇺 Maybe now I will be encouraged to take it out of the box.

Yours is the most informative video I have watched, I am fortunate to have two pleaters so I do what you do one for full space and one for half. My problem is this; im trying to set up a threading system but I dont know what one to cut so that the thread from the spool stays in the needle. I hope you or someone can help

After all of that, you did not hold up the end result, so that the viewer would be encouraged. It took a very long time for you to prepare the use of the pleater. I think that it is a wonderful tool. However, can you please consider that your viewer would like to enjoy the final outcome with you.

And have someone answer the questions in the comments section!! It's not as though someone would be overwhelmed! But they're all good, relevant questions that are pertinent to the film. It's very hard to find good tutorials for pleating and smocking either due to the poor camera angles or the presenter being far too noisy,wittering all sorts of irrelevant rubbish about cats or husbands 🤷
