Gerçekten harika derslerin var. Teşekkürler! By the way, isn't there an expanded way to issue imperatives? I think I read there was a more formal way to say things. Mesela: "Konsere gelin" söylemektense 'Konsere geliniz' söyleyebilirsin. Doğru mu?
@LearnTurkishvia

Rica ederim. I am glad to hear that the lessons are helping. And about your question: These two sentences have the same meaning. The only difference is that the second one is more kind and formal.

Thank you very much. I still have a question though. When we ask questions for he/she like: Selma eve dönmesin mi? Or Onlar spor yapsınlar mı? Could you please explain what does these questions mean in english. I understand it but can’t comprehend it’s meaning. Thank you!!

For example, you are a manager and you will have a meeting in one hour. You have a few employees and one of the employees is Selma. Your vice manager comes and asks you "Efendim, Selma toplantıya katılsın mı?" This means " Sir, do you want Selma to join the meeting?"

Selamün Aleyküm Hocam. Güzel bir ders için sağolun. Ama sorunum var. Buradaki "sağolun" doğru mu yada kurallarına göre "sağol" olacak mı? "Siz"(plural) için (ın, in, un, ün) ekler kullanacak. Ama "Siz" (You- Formal) için de aynı kurulları olmayacak mı yada "Sen" (You) 'in kurulları kullanacak mı?

This is a confusing lesson for me. "okula gelsin." looks to me like "you come to school." (simple present tense) rather than "let him come to school." because "sin" is usually the suffix for "you", not "he/she/it", isn't it? 🤨

Unfortunatly imperatives are like this. They don't follow the regular grammar rules.
