Good Morning, Jenna! Wow! I spent the last two days, breaking down this video to learn about commas. Just very grateful for you and your slow, careful approach to teaching a novice learner, like me. Thank-you, Jimmy

I grew up in Sangareddy, Telangana, India. I like the atmosphere and weather of my living place. Sunshine and sunset can be seen very closely from the top of our building, and I enjoy that everyday. Also, I like the fact that, the state I live in has many Historical, educational, and traditional places, which are all famous for their own qualities. Education is considered as an important factor here, and also students show their interest, talent and commitment in studies and various aspects, too. Thank you so much!! Ma'am, for this informative, helpful, and useful lesson:)

Nice paragraph! I enjoyed reading about the place where you grew up. It sounds like a really nice place to live. Notice that we don't use a comma after "I like the fact that"

Hi, I know there's a comma rule for separating job titles from names, but I thought the 10 rules that included examples you gave would include it. Can you make a video or would you mind explaining it further?
@LearnAcademicEnglish5 ай бұрын
Hello, Sorry I didn't include that rule in this video. We set off job or education titles with commas when they come after the name. Here are some examples: John Price, PhD, will be the new dean. John Price, M.D., is the head of surgery. Jennifer Hernandez, Professor of English
