Can pressure build up on the piston side during regenerative cycle when under load?

Yes, of course. The pressure on the rod and piston side is always the same during regenerative cycle

@@learnchannel-TV I mean build up to full working pressure of the pump say 200bar during regenerative flow when you apply a dead load on the rod end.
@learnchannel-TV3 жыл бұрын
@@impactodelsurenterprise2440 yes, you will get these 200 bars of the pump

@@learnchannel-TV Does the the load end see 200bar of downforce though? Shouldn't the net force be piston surface area minus rod side surface area? Am I correct to say another valve is needed to redirect the regenerative flow back to tank thus relieving the rod side of pressure and hence resulting in full useable power from the cylinder?

@@impactodelsurenterprise2440that is what valve 1v2 in this example does

Wouldn't the pressure then be acting on both sides of the piston?
@learnchannel-TV4 жыл бұрын
yes but the force on the piston side is higher than the force on the rod side because the piston area is bigger
