I have spent a total of four days now trying to figure out how to get a shopping cart to work with course groups. My courses are built and ready to sell. Sadly I'm stuck. I'm ready to give up and hire someone, but I can't find anyone who knows how to do this. I'm beside myself. I've spent months working on this and I thought this was going to be the easy part... building the courses was easy. This shopping cart stuff is beyond me.

I just dont get it, you recommended us to enable anyone can register possibility. but when they register without buying a course, they get an email with a link to reset their password with wordpress logo, as a matter of fact they could even start guessing the admin credentials and log to our back end. if you wanna make a tutorial, make it also visible from the customer experience, im not happy at all with this problem and feeling stucked! i want to customize the email they are getting after registration, i want to hide my back end link too! how do i do that

I have been reading comments below and I am a bit surprised tbh. I never had any issues with LearnDash. I chose it for client's work and I use it with WooCommerce and it is the best plugin for creating courses. True, the learning curve takes time, but once you get it, it is easy to operate and set up. Furthermore, every time I needed help, support, extra advise, I literally get product managers from Learn Dash picking up my tickets and helping me. I work with different companies creating online courses and price, flexibility I get with Learn Dash+ Woo Commerce+ Wordpress+ Elementor and couple of other plugins is the best. No other platform will allow you to personalise your courses. So stick to it, ask for support if you need. I hope this comment was helpful to those who still hesitate.

I've done all the steps you've asked. What I don't understand is the User Experience part. You mentioned browsing the website, woocommerce shop, learndash course page, and CartFlows. Are there more videos on this? I seem to not know which links to share or how this works.

I found this confusing. I still don't know where users are shopping? Landing page developed by woo? My page? Product page? Where? 30:02 needs to be close to front of video

Question: when you say "have your woocommerce shortcode setup", what are you referring to? I am new to woocommerce, I didn't expect I need to setup shortcodes to get woocommerce running.

I have multilple courses on my website. And there is a problem when buying more than one. When someone buys 2 or more courses, it only shows 1 course... other courses are paid , woocommerce shows them as paid, but there is just one course in the users list which shows what he can use. Is there a fix for this problem?

As I can sell in multiple currencies in learndash? I use woocommerce to sell the courses and the associated products without problems can change their price but the problem is that in the course grid and on the course page it shows me the fixed price that I set when I define the curos as closed, please is there any solution

I have the latest version as well and I have spent a lot of time to fix the access part, my Learners are not able to access to the courses after the purchase is confirmed, I have created programs and they are ready to be purchased and I need help. From the above steps there were a few things like allowing the customer to create their own username and password, also where we can add a note to the clients, it doesn't show up in the receipt email.

Thanks to James and Justin for good tips and advice. Could you please prepare the similar videos for 1- different ways of bundling the courses and 2- for a combination of offering the possibility of buying courses separately or through the membership level? By the way, I hope you have time in 2020 to prepare more training videos about details of integrations, add-ons, etc.

If I am selling direct to a company (multiple employees require access to the course) and they don't want to purchase through the website/woocommerce. Am I able to manually enroll the users into the course (in group as customers) and would they be able to login to the course even though they didn't pay for it through woocommerce?

Custom URL? Code snippet from random people on GitHub? It looks like LearnDash doesn't have a real solution to taking payments. This is a KEY feature that needs a solution. We need a more streamlined user experience.

Those are just options. The standard WooCommerce capabilities work like a charm.
@AndresMedinaVanegas4 жыл бұрын
@@LearnDashLMS not really. For the "integration" to work you need to set a course as closed. You have to add the woocommerce url in the closed course because if not if people land in the course page they won't be able to but it. The process should be automatic. Like if I create a course it creates the product and links between course and product. For example if I put a product in woocommerce with a discount that price won't change in the closed course page because that price hace to be set manually too. And using woocommerce in a course selling marketplace type of page using learndash grid makes no sense. Why? The grid shows no price. The only way to have a grid showing price is via woocommerce. Also the course content won't be visible in the product page. That makes the whole user experience a pain. Right now I'm using LearnDash with woocommerce and the integration is just too much for tons of courses. And the same applies for other "integrations" bbpress and buddypress? You have to create a group or forum manually. Instead of having true integration while creating the course. I had to buy BuddyBoss. That for the most part streamlines the process. But still woocommerce and LearnDash are not integrated. Using woocommerce memberships is not supported right now. So making a course paid by month I will have to use the learndash checkout. Having two different checkouts in two different places makes no sense. I would really want to see true integration.

@@AndresMedinaVanegas Did you get this sorted out? I bought LearnDash and BuddyBoss. After following along in this video, I'm really confused, and I'm about to walk all this back and uninstall Woocommerce.
@AndresMedinaVanegas3 жыл бұрын
@@NeckTips not really. This needs custom code to be automated. There's a solution where you can use both Woocommerce and the default Learndash method at the same time. But everything is manual.

Thanks for the tutorial. 3 Questions 1) Is there any way to give access to users for a trial period? 2) I'm in Korea and payment gateways here are a massive pain in the rear so to get that up and running via woocommerce, it takes a few months. I can only accept bank transfers as of now, so I'd like to know if there any way to give access right when the user checksout, even though they haven't sent me the bank transfer yet? That plugin you mentioned "autocomplete woocommerce orders" is for all virtual courses, not specific ones. Doesn't seem to work for me either, I think it needs to be connected to Paypal according to its documentation, but I'm not 100% sure on that. 3) Also, how to edit checkout fields. As I'm selling a course, I don't need postal code, address etc.

I want to create a separate selling/blogging site from the LMS site. Can anybody help me with tips/suggestions on the 'separation' of the WooCommerce and LearnDash site?
@CowMeCow4 жыл бұрын
I'm not an expert either but I would create a Page that offers products (Google about "Woocommerce How to Add Product to page") to sell, and also Page with Blog Posts, then add them to Menu on LMS Frontend. with thiese users to LMS will have access to both Products and Blogs.
