This video is a pronunciation exercise to the video lesson about the letter R. In the video Bart will read a number of words (with these letters) and your task is to repeat the words. It is a repetition exercise. Just go to a quiet place where no one disturbs you and where you feel no shame. Then repeat the letter out loud. Try to copy a much as possible the pronunciation of Bart; try to pronounce the Dutch letter R in the same way. Attention: Bart has a rolling R. You can pronounce it with your own R.

Thank you so much, so I can roll my r's when the word starts with r. Unfortunately I can't roll them when its in the middle. Do you have any tips? I practiced rolling my r's when I was 7 years old but never practiced words with the r in the middle or phrases with multiple rs. Thus i never really learned

Great video! Thanks for posting :) I'm just curious, is there any chance you could make a video on how to pronounce the other R's in Dutch (such as the more "French-like R's" and "English-like R's")? I always struggle when I'm trying to say a word that begins with "Gr..." when I'm pronuncing the R more like the French R's.... Hope this made any sense! :)

Hallo! In English I struggle with a speech impediment with Rs and they sound more like an American W. With is video I am noticing it is even more apparent in Dutch. For example with the word verraden the first r is a w and the second is rolled perfectly. Any tips/ resources? Would I get help with this if I take your e-summer school course?
