Dear Harry, I am also confused and join in that question.. Dr Clarkson (in 'Downton Abbey') pronounces clearly like "infinitEsimal".. Your authority is paramount, but please comment

You don't know how difficult learning adjectives is for English learners. I would say it's the second most difficult subject to learn, just after prepositions. Another topic I classify difficult is collocations, when you use a noun or an adjective plus a preposition. Very hard. Very hard. Well, if you could record some long videos explaining these topics, we would appreciate so much. Your explanations are splendid!

Is that adjectives collocating only with that nouns? Can i say solid room, massive wave or Just only say a vast room, a gigantic wave? Are there any false?

the pronunciation of bulky is a bit off to my ear... where are you from exactly, maybe there is some pronunciation change in the area where you live, wouldn't be surprised if it was somewhere in the Blackpool area :) although the rest of the pronunciation I don't have a problem with. But than again, you pronounce infinitesimal the American way..

I think 'ni' should be pronounced in in-fi-NI-tes-i-mal, not infitesimal. as you said.
