Bonjour, Cindy. J'ai soixante-quinze ans. Now, back to English! I stumbled across your channel today and I think I have now found just what I need to start learning French. Poor schoolboy French is where I'm starting from! I've got a couple of apps on the go (Duolingo and Mondly) which I'm finding ok, but I need to actually see someone speaking French and explaining in the way that you do. So, I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to regular lessons. Love the way you go in to detail of pronunciaton at a pace I can keep up with. By the way, I struggled to sign up to the itaki lessons so gave up!

I am 66.. I took a class in 7th grade and 8th grade from a fantastic Iranian woman who lived in France and spoke it amazingly. I recently, all these years later, decided to study french again. I bought a book and a french/english dictionary and am also watching many KZbin.. I read out loud daily and am looking up many words. So I am trying to learn French and Italian. Italian seems easier than French, French can be tricky.

If you're referring to the present tense, 'sont' means 'are' and 'ont' means 'have' as in 'they are / they have'. Or did you mean when using the passé composé or in specific sentences?
