Ein netter Versuch, diese haessliche Grammatikform zu erklaeren. Aber eine Logik ist nicht wirklich ersichtlich. Aber ich denke, das liegt nicht an der Lehrerin, sondern an der Grammatik selbst.

I am not sure if you later understood. Generally it’s like English Swim Swam Swum swim is present Swam is past Swum is past perfect Same as German Denken Dachte Gedacht But in German: Dachte becomes a verb on its own which you have to conjugate in relation to the pronoun. EG: du dachtest das. (You thought that) While for gedacht it remains the same since the auxiliary / helping verb gets conjugated Eg du hast gedacht . Where I have a problem is I don’t know when to use past and past perfect in German. Btw we have the same first name. Lol
@StefanoCart995 жыл бұрын
Hi, I didn’t understand what is the rule for conjugation of irregular verbs: there is not a rule for all, right? For example: for sang we say du sangST, while for fand we say du fandEST
@paulinasofiahernandezavila20004 жыл бұрын
That's depending on the last letter of the word. If it is d or t, we add -est to the second person to avoid an ill sound. Z.B. : Fands (it sounds bad, right?) Now try +est: Fandest. (Better)
