The secret to shield clipping is the skew. You have to get the skew, then you can shield clip out of bounds ONLY on walls opposite the direction of the skew. And the skew needs to be very prominent, lile mot just angled, but you have to see link nearly horizontal for it to work.

Two things: Unless you're doing an ESC (Extended Skew Clip), it does not have to be perfect. You could just shield jump (jump, shield surf, then take of the shield) onto a wall. Also, for the permanent active hitbox, you can press R and wildly swing your controller left and right (also the "Guinness World Record" would be Jhent's 0.83).

Unless you want to do an ESC, you don't need perfect timing. It's the skew that really matters. Oh, and shield clipping does not work past 30 fps or so.

Skew clip isn’t that hard, just take of your shield before link actually fully gets on it. As soon as you press A to flip, take off your shield

Shield clip us easy. I recommend trying it in the Yah Rin Shrine at lurlen. Then go to the trial of the sword and clip out. It's fun.

Theres another myth where its is real about getting the master sword with below 13 hearts. Go to the korok forest where the master sword lies then, look up and chose morning as the screen turns black start spamming A. then you can get the master sword before all of its data would register.

You should try the Ollie clip. It’s a really fun trick because you can clip through the ground anywhere.

You can wind bomb skywards by lining the bombs upwards very high (does take 2-3 stamina wheels)

you can use menu overloading to turn wood into Naydra's scales if you want

if you want scales (horns and claws too) you can go to Riola spring which is at the top of the series of waterfalls in Faron there if you set up a campfire and sleep until morning Farosh will come up from the spring and produce an updraft take out your paraglider and shoot Faron to get the scale, go back down and use a elemental fire weapon (or flint if you are rich) to relight the campfire sleep until morning and repeat then after you go through about 30 arrows collect the scales video demonstration: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGGvf52HobKhb6M

I practice the ESC with shrines, they're good source of practice to clip in the front door of shrines. Particularly in some place that gives you good slopes to get skew without damaging shield of course.

It's not about the amount of FPS. The problem is the FPS limit set by the FPS++ Mod. It affects Link's clipping and other things. Shield clipping on any other limit than 30 FPS is virtually Impossible. I had mine at 60
