I have been saying this prayer with my Baha'i daily prayer every day since I have received this sacred prayer during my visit to the Turtle Lodge in 2019. Miigwech, kinanaakomininin, I thank you all, my dear Elders! ❤️🙏❤️🐢❤️

I come to you to ask if it is both humble and honorable for me to say this prayer and learn your sacred language even though I am a white person. I would use it in my private prayers out of my deep love for the land of the Anishinaabeg, especially the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where I spent every summer as a child. Although I do not live there now, but it is the land my heart connects to. Please let me know if this would in any way be inappropriate. Thank you so much for this beautiful prayer.
