The first blind takes a straght starting from 8 to beat with one hand. So I think skipping that one os really bad unless it gives an amazing reward

The best part of playing a game that’s very strategy based is the learning curve. Often times it’s very satisfying to find something that works, and when you learn that there could be better ways it’s like opening another door. Each new discovery, especially in a deck building type game, is like making a sandwich purely eyeballing the ingredients.

Dude! The intro about how to think about this game is spot on. I fell into the same trap. Having good synergy jokers but not using them to the best potential, just going with a good poker hand. Once I got that figured out I started to win more and easier. That and extra chips plus X times multi is the way to go!

Hey what's up Sinvicta, Long time Isaac subscriber here going on about 7 years. I've really been enjoying watching The Balatro series , actually have been looking forward to it everyday and watching each one of your episodes. If you don't mind me mentioning it, I can tell you really enjoy the game but I feel like you're speeding through it way too fast. Personally I understand the majority of it but I would really love to see you take the time to discuss the positives and negatives of each of the cards in the shop every time, it helps us learn what they do and there's so many of them. I can tell that you have A lot of them memorized but when I watch it it's just a blur and when I show other people and try to get them to watch it they have no idea what's going on. My personal opinion is maybe you could make one version where you just take it slow and explain the positives and negatives of each card in the shop when it pops up so we can all learn along, and maybe if you just want to speed through the game it could be on a different episode? When you speed through it it's cool to watch the numbers go up but it really just doesn't make any sense to anybody how you actually got there... I mean at least not in my circles. Thanks for listening I'm loving this series and I'm going to keep watching it as long as I can understand it lol have a great day and thanks again bro!

One of the more common themes that I've noticed with the players who get really high scores is they often don't skip blinds outside of rare instances of stacking jokers or for impossible to pass up offers. I think it has to do with the opportunity cost of economy and missing out on an entire shop every time.

I really enjoy the learning progress of you and i learn for myself aswell here. Bought the game because of your vids! You probably could have saved the last run if you had turned a card into a 4th ace with the taort card. Btw you told us about your friends being better at the game, since im new around here could you add theire links like KZbin or Twitch to the describtion for us? Well so a few tips I picked up Skip less especially in the early Game it hurra your Economy, you Can still skip but the Price for Domingo it got to be good For economy try Playing the fewest hands basically always, but the First two blinds Can be done in One Hand with a good full House or a good straight When going for the biggest Score shape your run and Hand so Chips and Mult closely Match each other that is just mathematically the best. That is all I learned so gar Hope it helps you! Stay awesome

my biggest problem with these deck builders is that you can have the op deck all day long, but what happens when you dont draw what you need? obv theres a ton of skill in actually BUILDING the deck itself, but its super rng whether you draw what you need to win. like slay the spire, if something is attacking you for 60+ dmg and you draw absolutley no defense cards you just lose instantly. and when the enemy isnt attacking and all you draw are blocks is just super unsatisfying to me.
