Fantastic video. Getting my head around fighting games is a real challenge, and this is one of the best videos I've yet seen that breaks down the flow of a match that's easy for my brain to digest. I really appreciate it, and except it will really help me practice and get better.

I play Makoto who has short range normals, so I struggle to get near my opponent. They keep out ranging me with their normals. Thanks for uploading this.

I picked Tsubaki but after nearly 100 online matches (with only 4 wins...), I keep getting Perfected a lot. And I mean A LOT. Like 1 round out of 2 I loose with a Perfect :( I just can't see were the pressure end. I don't see it. Every time I press a button I get Counter... It's like every gap in the opponent pressure is a frame trap. I don't understand neutral, I can't anti air properly but every time I try an aerial approach I get anti aired and it's seems so easy... And I still don't get a firm grasp on the tech options. Sometimes I try to neutral tech but I fail to block the incoming meaty and I don't know why. I use Ky in GGrev2, I'm not very good by any mean but I win way more matches in GG than in BB... and I don't understand why T T

Moxi16 In blazblue you can record your matches an rewatch them, if you find yourself in a game where your going "was there actually an opening anywhere in there pressure?" I recommend recording and watching the clip to help find where your mistakes were and where you could of retaliated, also if your the kind of person who loves to read a bunch of facts dustloop is a very nice website that describes every characters moves and the frame advantages/disadvantages for those moves. Also try practicing against the bots 10-20 minutes a day and try to block all of their attacks.

I have a question: I'm a Juggernaut rank in Tekken and the transition from the netural game in Tekken completely disorientates me when I start playing blazblue because everything I do in Tekken doesn't work at all in Blazblue and it leads to me losing obsessively. What's the best way to practice Offensive and Defensive neutral? Also, do you have to know every single complex combo in Blazblue to be able to apply that level of pressure? I use Celica, Mai and Bullet. Mai I don't struggle with as badly when applying pressure but Bullet and Celica are a nightmare for me. I also have a horrendously bad time trying to get the execution right no matter how much I try.

MatyouLoyd thats mostly because the game its auto region locked. I suggest looking for groups on steam arround your area to play online.

There's steam group for Blazblue that you can use to find fellow players, and there's also a reddit community with a discord group that has chat rooms for learning the game and finding matches.
