BB is definitely not easy, so take the time to feel it out, and don't be afraid to take breaks to learn other stuff too. Sometimes tricks get easier after some time away from them. I just filmed my buddy doing double flip to border balance then from there to another double flip to border balance. I'm only 2 months into my Kendama journey... I had no idea what I was witnessing. Everything he does is just magic to me.
