I’m from Saudi Arabia. When I was a kid, I watched many movies and series in English, and I was curious about the language. I wished I could speak and understand it someday. Then, I studied English at school, but I couldn’t speak or use the language well .After that, I graduated with a degree in English literature, which helped me learn more about the language, its culture, and history. Now, I’m still learning by myself to reach my goal, which is to be fluent in English. Your podcasts and videos are always inspiring me to keep learning. Thank you for your efforts and your time.

It was really interesting! I used to feel that way about English when I was in school, because nowadays there is this kind of pressure, like everyone has to know English to make a good impression, especially if you are young, of course you have to know English and if you have a good level sometimes it is not something impressive (maybe for older people it is). And I didn't like it, I often felt guilty about my English in the past and because of that I had this bad feeling about English, it was just a mandatory and stressful task. But when I discovered your content (I always say this, but it's true!), it completely changed my mindset and English finally became fun, engaging, interesting. The best thing is that now I listen to your content because I'm really interested and I learn something new every time and English is a kind of tool to have access to something I like. And I discovered that I like this language, the sound of it, sometimes when I think back I can't believe that English is now one of my hobbies! I can't thank you enough! You have really changed the way I perceive this language and that means a lot to me.

Can anyone give me the summary of the video down below because I'm not ready to watch 30 minutes video talking about this topic . The reason why is because I have curiosity about his answer and I also respect his videos. ❤. Edit : I watched the whole video while enjoying my racing game asphalt 9 I would like to say that this person is kind and polite in his consideration of others’ points of view and their situation in learning English in particular because it is the common language at this time... In the end, I enjoyed this video and I wish everyone To learn English in a spontaneous and natural way and not take it as hard work. The same goes for other languages that you want to learn. Good luck to everyone :).. BTW MY ENGLISH LEVEL IS B1 INTERMEDIATE OR A LITTLE HIGHER 😆.

The value of the language come from two things: 1- The content that written in it. 2- The power of the country that speak it. The content come usually from the knowledge that this language speaker produce, as art or scientific research or media. While the power of the nation who speak this language comes from its' ability to effect other countries around the world.

There's a sentence on Cambridge website goes: he's a big mean guy. And I heard someone saying: ... Big screaming mean eels So the question is the word mean here can be labeled as what regarding adjective order Another question about the same topic I heard someone saying: this pretty cylindrical mysterious thing The same question is about the word mysterious what is the type of it as regard to adjective order. Thanks a lot 😊

I've done tutoring of the English language for Spanish speakers. They only want to have classes with me because they need to pass a test or speak English for work. However when I've been asked for other languages (rarely and casually), the reason why is because they want to learn it or improve it with a tutor for pleasure.

Do you believe that the minoritis languages, like catalan, are in danger of becoming extinct for the influence of other strongest languages? Thanks!.

I can have conversations in Spanish, French, and probably Portuguese too (though it's been a long time since I last spoke it). I don't have a very high level in French or Portuguese.
