Agree 100%. Regret is something the unbeliever turns to in an effort to appease his conscience but it will only lead to despair until he eventually shuts off his conscience completely. The believer, through godly sorrow, spends little time in regret before he confesses his sin and then repents of it, (turns away from it and takes steps so it doesn't happen again,) even if it happens repeatedly at first. You can regret a bad business decision and I have, or where you decide to live perhaps , but we need to repent of our sins and the sooner the better in order to be restored to fellowship with the Lord.
