Immaculate work! This is inspiring me to start painting again.. especially when Hopper's Nighthawks came on the screen was a definitive sign. I started laughing; I was given a computer with that as the screensaver.. not a coincidence. Also, I love it when you paid homage to your influences with adding a part of their style to your own work. Your art is beautiful. Keep sharing your craft.

You captured a wonderful moment in the sun. I think that Hopper used darks that are not so dark... so, less contrast and perhaps a bit more saturation, which makes it look even less like a photo.

Well, just the opposite, the ocean reflects the sky not the other way around, the colour of the sky comes from diffraction not reflection
