I feel your pain, keep going , you learn a bit more every day. I’m still struggling with changing conditions and moving sand . 1 out of 10 days is good

Love your perseverance! Do you think you’re taking too big of a run? Seems like you’re already decelerating by the time you jump onto the board. The lift of that wing makes me think that you’d be able to do a much shorter launch…like a one-step push off and jump on. Good luck!

Thanks for you thoughts! I experimented with a longer run in the hopes that it would create more stability in the foil and give me more time to place both my feet on the board and pump. The 1880 has a high aspect ratio and glides great, but the lack of cord length I find gives less pitch stability, which is why I'm trying to increase my speed before I land on the board. Hopefully something will click.

I think it's going to be hard without more of a drop off. You're getting on the board then bottoming out... I think you would have it with a steeper shore!

I agree that finding the perfect launch set up is key when learning to beach start. I keep an eye out for a steeper shore. Thanks for the tip!
