Yes Rochielin and Sean Captain Sully had to do an emergency landing in the hudson river in 2009 it was on the news for weeks and in newspaper he is a hero as no one died. Congrats to you both on your pregnancy. One love🇯🇲

🇯🇲🇯🇲 Congrats Rochelle on your pregnancy and soon coming family jewel. I miss some of your vlogs especially your rural/farming experiences. However, life goes on, fortunately or not changes are the only guarantees. Years ago Captain Sully, Sullivan had to make an emergency landing minutes after take-off of his stricken commercial flight. He had taken off I think from La Guardia Airport, fully fueled when he had engine failure and only enough time to land in the most convenient of his worst options, the East River. All on board survived the ill-fated aircraft, making Captain Sully a culture hero. He has since became an instructor.

Yes Roch, captain Sully landed his plane in the Hudson River, and all lives were saved. Canadian geese flew into the planes engine and he could not return to base. Funny I have just watched them on CNN reenacting the whole thing and interviewing the Pilot and the passengers who were on the flight( documentary today 8/01/2024).

I remember the landing in the Hudson River, and that was a great outcome. However, there are many planes that fall out of the sky. There have been some that dive to the ground or the water due to a mix of issues. I have seen many documentaries about it, especially commercial planes. Your friend is a pilot so I'm sure she will promote flying rather than focusing on the negative. Yes, more cars crash that planes but plane crashes are more devastating.
