After a very successful episode with mental game coach Dr. Bhrett McCabe, we took his advice to go see Scott Fawcett and change the way we maneuver around a golf course. Scott gives us A LOT of information, but it is all super helpful, we hope it helps you too!

Fixing Frankie is way more enjoyable than Break 90. Frankie actually has clearly worked on what he has been taught, and is the model of what is achievable with the right direction. I love Trent, but that man needs to practice more, including the fitness aspect, which just hasn't happened.

Scott's system helps with one thing that is really helpful and really important to making good swings, commitment to the shot. You go through all the analysis and decide on the right club it is easier to hit it with confidence and know it is going to be a reasonable result.

Much as I love Breaking 90 and am pulling for Trent... this may be the best series you've ever done. I think every golfer can relate to the stuff Frankie does on the course, and had the same light bulb moments when Scott talks about strategy. The venn diagram stuff with the approach shots was absolute gold.

so lessons learned; 1) aim for a small point a few feet in front of you that's in line with your target. 2) if you're not within 8 feet you can hit 24 feet out. you'll still be two-putting. 3) focus on keeping feet parallel 4) don't be a hero, hit the higher percentage shot. 5) Just don't make double 6) imagine it's raining on the green to read the line 7) hit the club that will cover most of the green. Don't be afraid to club down 8) be consistent in your placement of the ball and set up 9) learn to drive long

Perhaps it’s because I’ve played golf for forty years, occasionally at a relatively high level for an amateur, no concept in this video was new to me. I’m not sure how Frankie, or anyone who has played golf regularly, never heard of picking out an intermediate target a couple feet in front of the ball.

I dare anyone to keep track of how many times you hit it short of the green and pin with your approach shots. Amateur golfers miss short something like 80% of the time because they under club.
