Who else thinks that she woke him up for the kiss scene because she was hoping that it would get him into the mood to try it out too?

I swear Yamada's cute squeaking after getting told she's pretty is just damn adorable.

Loved this episode! Might be my favourite so far. It's great to see Ichikawa speaking more openly and not overthinking things, calling Yamada pretty but also just asking his sister (who was also amazing this episode) if his outfit looks okay. He's made so much progress!

For those wondering about the treat Ichikawa bought, there’s an extra where the other model was about to take it, and Ichikawa tries to correct her. She stares at him coldly, but yamada speaks up to Niko’s worry haha

In that final scene, a more literal translation is that he called her beautiful, not pretty. There is more weight on his word choice that was lost in translation.

Salutation cleavage... i mean Luna! Yes... Luna. Chapters in this episode 76,77,78,80 &81. Nice meaty episode with minimal cuts of conversation from the end. Anna throws a little shade at her manager and he feigned offense. The woman asking Ichi who he likes, asked a couple extra questions just probing a young teen. Like I said, minimal stuff. So onto the date, Ichi is crazy cute with Anna. Researches her interests, leaves the last piece of food for her (she had two of the four while he only had one) and even feeds her. Seeing this more than friends but less than lovers, interactions are so fulfilling. We are witnessing them mid romance. This is their pace. Anna still as crafty as ever. She's really the master of getting her little man out of his shell. There's so much meaning in seeing them both help the other grow. Prett as Anna is, she has her problems. Us sexy ppl have it rough too 😭. Very interesting that it's her maturity and dedication to the things she loves is what truly drew him to her. Expect a bit more from gap moe Niko this season. She's a real treat. NEXT EPISODE... No spoilers but it will in fact be one of the best of the entire 2 seasons. The music where Ichi pulled Anna and ran back to work hit me right in the feels and my tears DREAD the heart string pulls that will happen next week. White day should be episode 7. I'm locked in.

@@hieioni3354 why tho😂 what did he even do?
@pbgamer259 ай бұрын
@@hieioni3354 what did he say that he threatned him? Threat: a statement of an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage, or other hostile action on someone in retribution for something done or not done. He only did WHAT EVERY SINGLE MANAGER IN JAPAN DOES to protect their clients: keep away romantic relationships. Every manager does that in order to prevent polemics. The whole meaning of that scene was to show that people see Ichikawa and Yamada as a couple. The manager is harmless. He even said he knows Ichikawa just by the things Yamada tells him. He wouldn't threat the boy his client likes. PS: please tell me how you indirectly threat someone. For me it's just seems like you hating him for no reason

@@hieioni3354 🤣 nice answer. I'm a fanboy of who? THE MANAGER? LMAO yeah, didn't answer my question huh. I love how the internet opened space to people say whatever they want, but they don't wanna hear it back.

I think the manager is just doing his job. Remember how it looks like when Japanese celebrities are having a relationship and how it can negatively affect their careers?
@pbgamer259 ай бұрын
@@KebusuNiisan THANK YOU. EXACTLY. He doesn't have malice intentions or none of that. He's doing literally what all managers do. It's not bc Ichikawa and Yamada are the MCs that it's gonna be different for them.

This has been called the “this is not a date” date episode (but we all know it is). I know the manager is a little off putting but he knows his stuff and he figure out that Ichikawa has an inferiority complex. But our boy needs that push. With each passing episode, he gets closer and closer, and learns way more about her and he knows he doesn’t want her to give up on this dream of being a model/actress. He’ll do everything that he can to support her. Btw keep an eye out on that model, Niko Kouda. Something about her…

2:00 Another scheming Yamada moment right there 9:55 In contrast to their first date back in S1, Ichikawa's fashion sense greatly improved and even asked for someone for their opinion about it is a another sign of growth Also, we all know how iffy Japanese entertainment industry is when it comes to celebrities having a relationship, especially the younger ones. Remember Oshi no Ko and Bunny Girl Senpai?

Hmm. Another Luna outfit where I have trouble watching the screen. Oh, the struggle. 1:27 Yamada's seiyuu's talking with her mouth full voice is DISGUSTINGLY cute. I can't handle it, man. 2:18 I'm a manga reader so I knew this was gonna happen, but I still HOLLERED when Ichikawa grabbed her arm. 2:45 Oh Jesus, is mini-Luna doing all right over there? 3:46 I appreciate that they took this little scribble in the corner of the manga and made it a whole THING. That's the power of animation, there. 4:14 Extreme conscientiousness seems to be an Ichikawa family trait. 4:37 Easy to see how hot food is a weak point for someone who just routinely stuffs things down in one bite. 5:36 He's so happy just to show this little bit of consideration for her. What a good not-boyfriend. 6:33 Yamada lied as naturally as she breathed. 6:50 A hilarious thing I noticed: while it's not universal, all of the lady reactors I've watched clocked this immediately, while only some of the males did. We're pretty bad at this, as a gender. 12:25 I really appreciate this part, because it shows that the positive growth caused by their relationship isn't just one-way. To put on my Jungian psychology hat, Ichikawa and Yamada are flawed incarnations of Order and Chaos, respectively. Kyoutarou is stuck in his ways, afraid of change, always hesitating to move; but, he's also very constant (his statement that he'd always like Yamada wasn't just youthful boasting, I think) and committed to what he cares about. Conversely, Anna is flighty, flaky, unorganized; but, she's also renewing life and a force for positive movement. Together, they make a union of opposites that allow them both to become better people. We'll see more of this as the story goes on; Kyoutarou's changes are more obvious, but if you pay attention you'll notice how Anna grows as a person too, the things she learns from him. This moment right here is an example of him being a stabilizing force in her life. 13:40 I appreciate that she quickly corrects herself from calling him a friend, since that's nowhere near what he is to her. 14:04 Ohoho, boy, here comes this disaster of a human being. She's, uh... She's fun. She's interesting, let's say. 14:43 Clocked him IMMEDIATELY. Though of course he's also heard a lot about Kyoutarou secondhand from Yamada, so that probably helped his judgment. I imagine he read a lot between the lines of what Yamada said. As he himself says, there's no one more honest than her. She can't seem to stop herself from talking about people she cares about; recall that she had apparently talked a lot about Ichikawa to her friend group too, even before they adopted him. "I told you he was normal," and in the library when Chii mentioned she talks about Ichikawa a lot. 14:51 That is REALLY a strong statement. It's effectively him saying "She loves you, dude." 15:20 One thing from the manga I'm sad got left out: after the reveal that they're not dating, the manager says something to Kyoutarou to the effect of, "Wait, is Yamada really just bothering you?" Shows that he's not too coldhearted; and that question is part of what originally provokes Ichikawa to declare his admiration for her. 15:33 First time using her first name unprompted, I think. 15:54 Ooh, this statement of yours is really rather interesting since this particular belief is something that story's going to tackle head-on later on. I won't say more lest I spoil. Just, expect that idea to be put to examination thanks to Kyoutarou's inferiority complex. 16:15 I want you to recall all of the shenanigans that Anna went through on the Christmas date just to get him to call her "cute," all unsuccessful. Now, here, utterly unprompted and with a big ol' grin on his lips, the young man did her one better and called her "pretty." Our boy has grown so much! Anna's gonna be on cloud nine for the rest of the day.
