Hey man, thanks for the question. If the initial harass from HU is very effective then the game will generally get a bit wonky. If a shredder is possible, that might be a better option. Otherwise, you're just going to have to spend a bit more time getting the wisps back. This makes it very difficult to hold a rifle/caster push. The same concept will still apply though - you want to delay as much as you can. You need to distract him from creeping or stall out his economy somehow, but most importantly you must not lose archers. You will likely need 1-2 APs + your AOW as base defense while you're making your way to bears as well. The key really is though to not let the human into your base without you being well aware of it. That is a game breaking mistake. You should focus a lot on how the HU was able to evade you, and figure out counterplays accordingly.

@@arkRS Hi ark. So great to read your response, very helpful. The thing is from my experience it's hard not to lose archer while distracting HU from his creeping. Like on Remind's match, he's at his base while skirmishing with AM footman, so he can heal from moon well, but when harassing, there's no moon well to heal, and things goes wrong when AM has dust. So should I harass with only my DH?

@@924456 I completely agree it's very hard. Your focus should be on defensive posturing. You don't usually want to trade hits with the HU unless you can do a significant more amount of damage in that same amount of time. For instance, you don't want to fight with 1 dh/1 archer straight up against an AM + 3 footies. You can chip at him, but otherwise you can't really get too crazy until you're at least 3+ archers. It's also not worth it to trade an archer for a footie. If we think about the army of the HU - they're going to be able to replace a footie at t2. NE has to wait until t3 to start replacing their archers. So bottom line is, you want to utilize your archers early game but you have to prioritize keeping those alive over dealing damage to the HU units. It is certainly not easy - but that should be your goal to accomplish in the early game.
