Nice video- thank you. I did not find a way to import sketch symmetry lines into draft sheets. As a consequence, I can not apply the 60 degree angle dimension between the legs of the lever, when in draft mode. Kindly point out how to achieve this. I can draw new dashed lines, acting as symmetry lines in draft mode, and then apply angel dimensions. But I would prefer to have this right away without manual annotation. Using SE community edition 2024. Thank you.

Thank you very much, Got to learn few more commands in more simple way. Sir I am trying to follow your drawing methods and I am practicing regularly. Do make more videos on solid edge drafting with dimensioning, title block and printing .

@@drmseif I would also recommend you to shuffle your playlist again to distinguish the videos between 1( Basic, 2) intermediate 3) Advance. Right now all the videos in your playlist are mixture of above. This will Enhance the Viewer to follow you more clearly and will benefit you in more ways. Thank you for your prompt reply.

I am using student version 2022. I can not make extrude for this. I dont know y?

You shouldn't have any problems using student version 2022. I am using the same version fo teaching my class. Here are some suggestions: 1. Save your work and turn off your computer and on again. 2. Watch the updated version of this lab (Lab 2 updated). It is done using the same version you have. 3. Did you open the part window or you used a different one such as Assembly? 4. If you still having problem, we can arrange for a zoom meeting and watch your work to find out what is the problem. Good luck.

So I guess this is a kind of flange for bolting two objects together that are greater than 90° apart so they hold together. Why did you choose symmetry? Seems to me you did not need this before you extruded to thicken the part on the Z axis.

Thank you for the comment. Human nature prefers symmetry, but applications will dictate the final design.
