Wanted to add to the crowd of thank you's- because while there are plenty of anatomy tutorials available, very few that study practical application of anatomy in appealing character design the way you eloquently do so here. I really appreciate that your tutorials are long and detailed, patience and attention to process are very good virtues to establish when making thoughtful art!

Hey Tim, I recently discovered your channel and I wanted to say thank you. I learned more in the last two weeks then I did in the last 6 months. After being stuck in my progress you helped me elevate to the next 0.05 level 😅. Keep up the good work.

Hi Codex..love your videos, like how you keep reiterating structure, form ,drum sticks, Loomis. Liked how you pointed out the importance of the line. Hay, What? I heard someone taking about I guess like three-dimensional perspective, seeing through, inside and around objects. Thy used the terms->XYZ It was an eye opener. Thanks for your help and your efforts to teach the commoners (me) I find myself watching your videos a few times 😎

I really enjoy learning this style of constructive drawing because it allows me, with enough patience and practice, to basically draw anything complex from my head. What I really like is the method you're teaching is not too, um, anal. There's a very clear focus on just practicing and eyeballing things until they look right and it gives everything drawn using this method a very organic feeling I also like the emphasis on just sketching it until the drawing just looks right and then erasing and finishing it The real gem here was the emphasis on iconography when you're trying to nail down the feeling of an existing design. That was very interesting

Does the torso look too short? I'm thinking that's why the right hand cones down to the knee.

Yeah I was going for more of an 'Anime' look with the proportions. I talk about it during the process. But yes well spotted :)
