Nicely done - Looking forward to more. A few important things you missed.. (1) Setting AP and Panel Altimeter setting. The AP Baro was still flashing, so was never set, so AP will never turn on. Should be in a Checklist for a C172 with the GNS530 (2) Always good practice to set the Heading bug to the assigned runway, and then cross check when turning onto the runway, that you are really at the correct runway. (3) Checking engine temperature is sufficiently hot before takeoff is important. Engine can run rough if cold, and not develop full power (modeled in this WB-Sim enhancement Mod)

Awesome! thanks for the input, love it! :) I also had the top GNS off , but didn't want to refilm (big oops haha). Good to know about the AP, never flown one with it , so I will set it next time (will add ammendment to next videos, especially navigation portion). Will add a point to check the heading bug as well, on a DA40 that I fly, I typically check the heading to compass on holding short point (didn't include it here). Agreed on the temperature, I'll make sure to include it on the next video.

Good pace, sounded very in control. To add instruments should be checked during turns in the taxi. Wet, DI, turn cord, attitude. Turning right check, rising, rising, right, left and erect. Turning left lowering lowering left right and erect.

It’s definitely different to the in-game procedures. Why didn’t you do all checks before starting taxing to run-up area? Haven’t heard about it before

It’s best to do a runup in a specified area so you don’t disturb the parked airplanes at the ramp. This tutorial is more closer to real world flying.

@@MrZoidbergg I've included a link to POH for Cessna 172. For run-up areas, it's typically written in CFS , or you can always ask ground frequency so they point to the best area to do it.
