Learning to fly with the Red Arrows! (FSDP scholar 2022)

In March 2022, I was awarded a flying scholarship for disabled people with my sponsor being the Red Arrows. We were invited up to RAF Scampton for a handover of the check, a private display and to meet the team. It was an amazing experience and something I will always remember. I also got to do my first long distance flight in control of a PA28 that day!
Getting this scholarship is a dream come true for me as before I became sick and a wheelchair user my dream was to be a commercial pilot and/or in the RAF. This is now the way I can achieve my dreams.
This is episode 1 of my FSDP scholarship journey.
