Learning to Lament

Many times we get the impression to be good Christians we need to always smile and "be happy." This, however, would make Jesus a bad Christian, seeing that Jesus cried out in deep lament in the Garden before crucifixion and on the cross.
The main focus of written prayers in the bible are lamenting, sad, struggling, questioning, and desperate prayers
God's cure for our anxiety, stress, and depression is to faithfully pray prayers of lament before the LORD on a regular basis. This is God's gift to us to heal our souls. So come to learn how to become radically honest with God in prayer, and open yourself to sharing in God's suffering as well as HIS JOY in conversations with HIM
