Wow! What a beautiful testimony! I cane across Pastor Banky, while searching you tube for african movies. I recognized him, from the first movie I saw on Netflix, The Wedding Party! I have been watching movies since! I decided to listen to the message. He and his wife, whom I also enjoy watching in movies as well, gave such a powerful testimony of God's love and grace in their lives as they experienced loss, while trying to have a baby. I have been listening to him share the word and His music. It is so refreshing to see God using people in so many different ways. Each time I see him and his wife together, they just have such an awesome glow about them! Blessings upon blessings to them both!

Amen 🙏🏿. Hearing the voice of God is not reserved to only people in ministry but to all of us. We can only hear the message when we learn to listen. The Lord is near not far from us. Banky, God wants you to depend on him for everything. He is not like our earthly father who wants us to use logic and commonsense to figure out life NO NO NO. God wants us to depend on him daily . In all our ways we should acknowledge him. The bible says we should not lean on our own understanding. This is because God's ways are not man's ways. Please correct this. God wants you to depend on him throughout your life time. Please Banky correct this.

I think what Banky is trying to say is not that we dont depend on God but He has given us the right to choose but He wishes we choose right in our lives and not that we go to him for every decision in our lives. Thats why he used the analogy of a child and a parent. A child doesnt have to ask the father what he should eat or who to be friends with. By reading Gods word we understand him more especially with the presence of the holy spirit in us, leading us guiding us leading us into the truth. So theres nothing to correct in what he said. @@amakamba2009 Amaka, God is unlike our earthly father and he insists we come to him for everything. Like you rightly said he gave us the Holy Spirit. This is the spirit that resides in God and it is holy the similitude of a network which we have access to by virtue of our acceptance of Christ into our lives as the first step and secondly the acceptance of HIS Spirit. The Self same Spirit that dwells in God the third person in the God head. Having said this , being led by the Spirit of God is being led by God because the lord our God is one. The person of the Holy Spirit who dwells with us here on earth today giving himself freely to whomsoever has recieved Jesus Christ leads you step by step, inch by inch, day by day and that is why it's imperative we DENY OURSELVES DAILY (not using our own logical calculations ) and following Him. You see it is very difficult knowing you have a brain and yielding to the Holy Spirit i.e yielding to God. You do not own yourself anymore. Think : if you give your life to christ , do you still have your life? No. So therefore it is christ that will endorse every action either to eat, what friends to have, whom to associate with, what clothes to wear etcetera. This is how you know who is a child of God. In EVERYTHING total submission and dependence is on him which is key and that is why we are called Christians : Christ-like. Although the word Christian has been modified by the world system giving you opportunity to use your brain at will and at the same time claiming to walk in the spirit which is not recognized by Heaven. The scripture says as many as are led by the spirit of God they are Sons of God. Nowhere in the bible did christ use his own brain independent of the Father. Everything he heard from the Father he said to us, so therefore are the words coming from you recieved from God or from your brain. What is flesh is flesh and what is spirit is spirit. The analogy Banky gave was a series of growth processes. I heard that part but I listened to the end and in fact, we can't stop depending on God as believers. Banky wasn't saying that we shouldn't depend on God from all his assertions and that was the reason he started with the faith series and some of the misconstrued beliefs we had about God speaking in time of old and now. He literally gave the analogy of the baby who is trained and tutored by the earthly father and later grows up to make decisions about the instructions he got as a baby. God's word said "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he won't depart from it" and so the knowledge we get from God's word is sufficient to keep us going on a regular basis. Banky is saying God wants that we grow and not remain that suckling child that is frightened at every point when threatened by little situations when His word is inscribed in our hearts. The word of God is a guide and because you learn to listen to the gentle still voice according to Banky, you will be guided in your path of righteousness.

Awesome sermon...but I want to correct one mistake you made in your statements in 13:25-13:40. John 10:16 is not talking about us. The DNA right from Adam was black until the birth of Noah. (Even scientists have established this) John 10:16 does not refer to us...It refers to those that are not us but who know who we are. Banky...do not allow yourself to be deceived with the whitewashed image of Jesus and the white washed image of Israel. Even the government of Israel today is looking for the lost tribes of Israel in Africa. We are Israel in the natural world ...The lemba tribe of South Africa has been found to have the kohanim/levite DNA strain of the priests of ancient Israel.......so please correct yourself and do not lead the flock astray. Jeremiah 16:16 says ..."Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks." This points to the blind backward people of sub saharan Africa. We are the only ones in todays world that are seen as backwards. The fishing and hunting is happening with evangelism especially the one that was brought by the missionaries and the present state of Israel...which is actively looking for the children of Jacob and the lost tribes of israel in Africa.

Bank W, (Hebrews 11:1) is not the definition of faith at all. But rather a discription of faith that the people under the old testament walked in, because faith under the old testament was not in Christ but in "Things" which is why Jesus described their faith in the gospels by their action. The new testament faith begins from the cross of Christ. In the 1980'S my Pastor (Pst T JODA) taught us faith using Hebrews 11:1 as definition, but that is wrong. I would strongly advice that you listen to Pst's Chris Onayinke, Dr Damina, Dr Shawn Smith on youtube.
