I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels uncomfortable and drained on my period. I just got mine and all week I’ve been attached to my heating pad while working from home. It feels like the life gets sucked out of me!! Us people who get periods are so strong for continuing to push through even on our periods. It’s kinda sad to me that so much of the population experiences this but no one professionally cares. As in, it can’t be used as an excuse, it’s just one of those things we have to collectively push through and “get over it”.

I literally cannot do anything sometimes, it’s just soooooo draining and uncomfy ;-;

It’s really depressing to me thinking about my future job and career path, because my degree of pain is vary variable during my period. I can go from mild and almost unnoticeable on some days from “I genuinely cannot walk, move or do anything but scream and cry in pain (yes, scream).” I do have a full time job in the summer and I can usually get through it but I’m really scared that if Im not having an independent job and work a 9 to 5 for the rest of my life, I’ll be forced to work when I’m too sick to move. Thankfully, Applecheeks AMAZING content cheers me up I might on day manage to start my own business and be free from corporate slavery 😂

@@happyjellycatsquid I felt the same way for so long. I finally decided to try birth control and I can’t believe I have allowed myself to suffer for so long without it! Unfortunately doctors still viewed my extreme symptoms as normal but I find one willing to go through all the options with me. I hope you find something that works for you!

It's funny how we all experience the same 'phases' in life, but at different times. I didn't go to college, and I spent most of my teenage years not going to school, but instead kind of educating myself and exploring my creative hobbies. I thought I had it all figured out...and now, at almost 27, I have tremendous anxiety about using all the skills I spent so much time on. Some start slow, and speed up Some start fast, and slow down

I have a bed in my studio. It's just a plywood platform in the corner with a mattress but it makes the studio soooo much more accessible for my disability. Good work taking care of your body.

loved this video!!! i’ve had a lot of downtime lately and i’ve gotten back into reading. i relate to what you said about spending money on hobbies… i’ve always felt kinda guilty but i realized that having a bookshelf full of books and sitting down to read each one makes me really happy, so i don’t feel as bad about buying books anymore :)

This has actually really helped me. I have a huge problem with constantly changing my mind with my art. All along I should've realised that I should've done the other thing for pleasure rather than taking it seriously. Thank you.

I work in academia, the total opposite to the creative industry. My hobbies in art -I play the piano often, and occasionally draw/paint - keep me alive, sane, and generally avoid me from experiencing burnout of the academia (it can be super tough and boring)... so I really get what you mean by working on hobbies other than your main occupation (that makes you money). I really enjoyed your video, as usual!

I literally just got back from an LA and Disney trip yesterday and I must say.... My favorite ride was definitely Rise of Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers (which I highly recommend going in the evening because the headlights and everything is just better), but definitely the most memorable was Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. For all those who have been on that ride...you'd understand why it was the most memorable...Literally every single person in my group (which was six of us) had the same reaction and definitely looked back at the other group to see their reaction once they got out of the ride area.

this is a bit personal, but seeing your dad describing to you so carefully about making ceramics in mandarin made me emotional haha. it was so sweet and reminded me of my own dad, with whom I've had a strained relationship. I'll be reaching out to him sometime soon because of that clip, thank you for sharing something so nice.
