In The Netherlands, kids are required to follow swimming lessons and get diplomas (A and B are required, C is optional), because there's so much water here. However, my experiences are that they aren't fun at all. I really had to encourage myself to go swimming because it's fun, but the swimming lessons made me not like swimming. It should be possible to teach kids how to swim in a fun way, right? The way it is now makes me think about teaching my future kids how to swim myself, instead of letting someone else do it in a not fun way, and get some inspiration from how Garret taught his kids to swim.

Omgosh when you guys were sitting on the floor at the end all I could see was Carson wow never noticed how much he looks like his daddy. This was such a magical time, thanks so much for taking me on your amazing adventure again. I loved the girls giving balloons away, dressing up as princesses, Claire learning to swim , but my favourite part of all was Carson as a pirate he just looks so cute. Please give him a huge Pirate hug from me . Plus darling June wanting more is so clever, to be able to ask for more lol . Love you all . Take care everyone 😉

What I especially love is that you encourage your children to give to others. Walking down the street, presenting balloons to others is simple yet provides a HUGE opportunity to just GIVE without expectation of anything in return. These “little things” keep them aware and bring happiness to others. Wonderful idea! ❤️

AsHLiegH-MaRie HoPe I have a severe hearing loss and can’t hear speech without hearing aids. But not too long ago during the late 90s when I was born, the doctors specifically advised my parents NOT to teach me ASL because they believed it would hinder my speech development. While I’m delighted that people are learning ASL, it’s also hurtful to think that teaching ASL to babies wasn’t considered an acceptable practice until it went mainstream in the hearing world.

It looks like you guys had so much fun!!! I love that you are teaching June to sign words as she can't talk yet. I worked at a daycare for 4 years and and we would encourage the toddlers to sign what they needed to us while they weren't able to talk yet. Another good one that is easy to teach is "eat".
