Have you ever got killed while trying to heal in Tarkov?
@acidneon5164 жыл бұрын
Look Jesse, I'm sure we all have. Was that a rhetorical question?

Trying to heal on customs after losing a firefight outside vip exfil. Got a grenade shower. He threw maybe 4 or 5 just to flush me out. The first one went about 20-30m past my feet but the audio cue put it at my feet so i tried to move away. I would have been safer being stupid and staying put.
@czproductions4 жыл бұрын
Actually I haven't, definitely had some close call though. I usually bait healing twice to see if they push before doing it for real lol

Dude I got trapped in the bus on the bridge yesterday in customs, had to do 5 surgeries, teammates doing his own surgeries, I knew they could hear me stapling away. Didn't make it out of that one, epic firefight though there was 4 different 2 man teams. Edit - teammate healed up and cleaned house except for last guy down below somewhere, head tapped him. He had a very good time looting I'm sure.

Always love to nade and then use that sound to cover me retreating and holding a better angle. It's won me so many fights from just tapping dudes in the head after they push
@Reeceezy4 жыл бұрын
That's a really good strategy. I'm going to have to keep it in mind. Yesterday outside of dorms in a 1v1 the guy kept throwing grenades and I'd get closer to him under the sound cover. I got way closer than he anticipated and I won. He was way better of a player and way more geared than me, I think he just got overconfident since he won dorms and I kept my cool.
@acidneon5164 жыл бұрын
Underrated skill. All the shooters these days deemphasize tactical repositioning as cowardly or a waste of time. Look at battle royale for example, the entire genre is about forcing players together, and guess what happens from that? You go down from 100 players to one. Remember, Tarkov is a survival game firstly, and a combat game after that.
@_VinSi4 жыл бұрын
I mean repositioning is probably the most important thing, it's not about killing, it's about not getting killed, and what is the best way to net get killed if not not being spotted because you keep repositioning after every mag or burst or even tap.

In EFT there is just so much to learn :D Just today I killed a three man at new gas on customs with the mp-153 (for skier´s task). I was super juiced with altyn, m4 and ash 12. Right after that I killed a solo pushing me while I was gathering my loot. Then I went to dorms to take the Car and get out. But at dorms I ran into a super geared and experienced two man. They lit me up good but I managed to kill one of them. At this time I didn´t know there was a second guy so I did not check my surroundings and stumbled right into his arms, low on health and died of cours. A few month ago I could barely take on scavs. Videos like this one are inspiring for me to take most of my defeats as an example to learn from (if the tilt isn´t to big lol). So thanks :)

I wonder how much a picatinny riser would have helped with sight picture? That muzzle blast in the dark can be so rough.

i like that you pack your footage into a lesson and you SAY it in the beginning. when i see other videos with a lesson title, i click, and only see them playing a raid. then i kinda feel ripped off and quit lol.

One thing that you might benefit from is aiming lower to get more accurate shots when your recoil is so high. Most of those shots went over their heads. Edit: once played slow I could see your recoil wasn't that bad. That's my fault

I retreat all the time. I'd rather someone push thinking they are chasing someone weak, when really, I'm just setting them up into my little ambush.

Recently running solo with an MP7 been finding myself needing to create space to back off to pack mags pretty often. Running out of ammo has gotten me in some sticky spots recently.
@Wagnersuperior4 жыл бұрын
How many mags do you run? MP7 AND P90 require more mags than M4s or AKs for sure.
@bigbear91824 жыл бұрын
Wagnersuperior I do one 40 rounder in the gun and 3 spare. Usually it’s enough but when I’ve gotta do stuff involving raiders or boss scavs with inflated health pools I run into trouble. However also when PVPing for me atleast it’s a mag per kill. Due to the high fire rate and occasionally unruly spray it’s hard to really land shots constantly I’d say past 20 meters. Which is a good deal of my encounters on reserve, customs and shoreline.

I throw on the riser for the SA-58 to get the optic over the muzzle flash.
@Mriswith2k4 жыл бұрын
Was thinking the same, running anything unpressed with a sight that close to the bore is horrible, I find even the riser not being enough at times, I would've prefered to use a different sight (either a hama/bravo, or something using the high profile trijicon mount), especially in dark areas where the light desaturation from your flash will completely make you loose target.

as a solo player you gotta pick your fights I agree completely, the best thing to do is get the drop on a squad, kill a couple if you can, and dont overstay your welcome in the fight, even tho leaving the loot is hard sometimes, its often necessary against a group when you're alone
