I can see a lot of ways to use the dynamic split, like changing ambient effects to clean up or go nuts or sounding almost like a looper. The crossover could preserve the lows or highs while everything else gets mashed up or isolate wet effects to within a frequency range. Interesting possibilities!

Recently acquired Helix LT. Just scratching the surface... and trying to update firmware! That's another story. I've been trying to figure out how to merge and pan two series paths before going into a stereo reverb at the end .

I don‘t understand how putting just a reverb in a parallel path is different from dialing the mix back. Say, I split 50:50 after the amp and have nothing but a reverb after it. Say I put the reverb at 50% in a single path and compare that to a split path with the reverb in one the paths at 100% (just for the sake of the argument). How would that be different? I get it that when you put a reverb on one path and a delay on the other - sure, that is different from running them into each other

Me neither! But the ability to use crossover or separate processing on the split path is luxurious. ❤
