Hey Alex! I am loving vlogmas this year. I've been with you since you were upstairs living with your mom :) maybe just use the press ons when you feel like your nails need a break and then switch over to regular, salon nails.

I was not a press-on person for the same reasons until I started doing press-ons with the added support of a little acrylic. Once you put your new set on using a small "ball" of clear acrylic under the tip from your fingertip to the tip of the press-on. This gives them the strength they need to last for a week or more. Give it a try I think you will love the results.

Hey Alex, just want to raise awareness… these small little ma’ and pa’ businesses only survive when we support them, instead of going on Amazon to look for a cheaper price. I really hope you see this! Regarding your personal nails, I used to have the exact same issues that you did. However, are use my gel kit on top of my nails. I put the base coat on and Carolyn in the light and then I put the topcoat on and care of them in the light, and I promise you it will strengthen that mail and it will last so so long. I’m so glad VLOGMAS is back!

Couldn't you add just a bit of gel, and cure it under your light, under the tip of the press on to get them a bit thicker on the overhang? I'm sure that's why they're cracking, and breaking. They're thinner, flimsier material. Just thicken them from the underside a bit. See if that helps!
