I just want to say thank you for making your vlogs for us. I personally have been going through a tough time mentally with anxiety and depression and when I watch your videos I feel like I get a sense of relief. It like takes my mind off of my feelings and everything going on in my life at the moment. When I see you shopping, or doing your makeup it gives me the motivation to do it as well. That might sound weird but it really does! Again, thank you for doing what you do. It is appreciated and I love your videos so much. BTW my dogs love it when Bruno comes on the tv when I watch your videos! They always bark and wag their tail. So cute!

I live about 35 mins outside DC and I never understood why people would vacation/travel here. I know there’s all the monuments, history, and stuff, but I guess I just take it all for granted since I live so close and can go there whenever I want. Glad you had fun!!

Yea DC restaurants are usually expensive and overhyped and food is average. But there are some gems in the city. It’s usually the family owned restaurants. Hope y’all tried some Pupusas!

I'm so glad you both had a good time in DC. I love DC! My sister and I have been twice and still plan to go back. But, you guys missed the best museums! Yes, all of the monuments and presidential things are cool, but there is SO much more to DC. You have to go back again and go to some other places, like National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, National Portrait Gallery & American Art Museum, Smithsonian American Art Museum, United States Botanic Garden, and Georgetown is adorable! There's so many other, lesser known, museums and places that I feel a lot of people miss.

I recommend exploring DC and taking the subway. On my first day in DC we walked sun up to sun down. I clocked more than 20,000 steps that day. The first day we explored grand central station, Arlington National Cemetery, all the National Mall Monuments, and explored a few other places. The second day we did all of the Smithsonian museums and the US capitol. So fun!

We moved from Ohio to Va for my husband to work at the Pentagon. We took our family to DC this summer and it was pretty warm. A lot of walking, for sure and so many people. I wish it wasn’t so touristy. Come get your hats, your T-shirt’s and buy an overpriced milkshake. Some people miss the history. Anyway, glad you had a good time! No joke! I took a road trip with a family member from back East this past Thursday! We went through Sedona first, was still about 100 degrees. Then when we got to Flagstaff it was raining and 52 degrees! We got caught in that microburst/haboob that happened and I literally was creeping along at 20 mph trying to get out of it! When we got back to the Valley it was 100 degrees at 10 pm 😅😭
