Pramilu toda? Simple todas? Tatkars? Lay baant? Tihai??? Kathak is not only hastak for beginners or ek gun du gun chougun or aathgun or even solagun... It has many more... Where are those parts?

Amazing discourse ....so unselfish in sharing so many small but REALLY important techniques which MOST teachers are UNWILLING to impart or teach the intricate nuances too...you are really very generous and may the great LORD bless you always dear...your video on the foot tapping and producing the sound was a fantastic one( the first one I watched today) which I too was wondering of for there is a glitch because we were not taught all this while on how to produce the sound without hurting the feet......might be they have no idea of the pedagogical aspect .we were taught on producing the sound by tapping the front part of the foot but not to fold the sides and create a hollow in the core and then tap (as you have clearly demonstrated).....and my good graciousness ...after watching your video I tried using it in my Bharatanatyam classes with my students and you know what ? It saved a lot of unwanted pain while executing the adavus(steps) with ease...your shishyas are indeed very lucky to have you as their guru..SHREE GURUBHYO NAMAHA....thanks once again on this wonderful lesson on posture...very very useful pedagogy that could be used in all traditional art forms
