Great job ! Just to help you , I would like to bring it your notice - there is something called sandhi (സന്ധി) in Malayalam. It is very important. Please look into it. "Sandhi" literally means "joint". Example 1 It's 06 30 now "ippol arara aayi" ഇപ്പൊൾ ആറര ആയി Looks ok for a beginner, but it is wrong in the sense of sandhi (സന്ധി) With the right sandhi, the above mentioned sentence becomes "ippol ararayaayi" ഇപ്പൊൾ ആറരയായി Please note that, here a "ya" (യ) is added between arara and ayi to join them. Example 2 Kay + adi (കൈ+ അടി) = Kayyadi (കയ്യടി) ഹേ, ya (യ)is doubled (യ്യ) Example 3 Parichayam+ ulla (പരിചയം+ ഉള്ള) = Parichayamulla (പരിചയമുള്ള) Example 4 Pattunnu+ illa (പറ്റുന്നു+ ഇല്ല) = പറ്റുന്നില്ല Example 5 Pattuka + illa (പറ്റുക+ ഇല്ല) = Pattukayilla (പറ്റുകയില്ല) This is one of the two rules (sandhi and samaasam) I see the new generation misses in our language of Malayalam.

Thanks for such a helpful comment! I try to Introduce the words individually first so learners can tell where the words start and stop. Later on, I plan to have more authentic examples woth more joined speech

@@Learn-Malayalam, good to know about your approach. All the best. And thanks for teaching my mother tongue. Keep going Elikkutty (എലിക്കുട്ടി).
