I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

You know I’m movies when your minding your business and all of a sudden appears a knowledge wizard who’s there to drop knowledge and you have to frantically take notes or else the world will end? This guy reminds me of that knowledge wizard and I was just minding my business and now it’s 3:00am and I’m frantically taking notes so I don’t miss out on these life lessons. I’m in a FB Group about Financial Fitness that a high school friend started because I ended up being homeless right when she retired from day trading and after I got back on my feet I was the only person really listening to and responding to her FB post about investments. The masses aren't taught how to make money. There's a reason until recent the stock market was kept behind closed doors by the upper classes, after all how do they stay rich in the first place. Now the internet has blown those doors open for anyone to invest in things like fractional shares and ETF's essentially democratising the stock market. We're no taught how to make money in school but to work for it.
