@@RameenFallschirmjager Minecraft is written in Java and I haven't learned Java, but a lot of the data is stored in JSON. If you want to modify certain things for mods and custom maps you'll find yourself writing JSON. Of course, I love redstone and commands too.

if TEACHERS at schools were LIKE THIS, putting INGENUITY into every phrase and sentence they utter out, there would be NO such thing as a GIFTED kid/child in class, vs other so-called "dumb" kinds. If you are experiencing this problem you can fix it by moving your to the bottom of the index.html, that way it will load after everything has loaded with HTML!

it is trying to run before the DOM has completely loaded. I got it to work by wrapping the entire function in a window.onload=function(){};

Hey Bella, I thought about the same thing. But once I wrapped everything inside of the window.onload, then I no longer have access to the variables because everything inside of the function are now local variables! How did you get around this problem?

incase you dont want to turn off the ad blocker you can simply use (document.write) instead of console.log and it will be printed on your webpage .

if you start an html page by first typing ! and then pressing tab then vola, all this thing inside the head would be automatically made and even the basic html template, try it, type ! and then press tab:)

I know others have stated the obvious but wow...you are an incredible teacher! This video is so clear, easy to understand, and well paced. I have been using JSON and AJAX on a few projects lately and while I understand "how" to make it work, I was looking for some tutorials on "why" it works. Most other tutorials I found were way too granular and assumed the viewer already knew a lot. This was perfect for me and I am sure its also perfect for people who are just starting to use JSON and AJAX. Great work!

Thanks for this! Usually it's common practice to add the script in the head instead of body, to allow the page to load quicker. In this case, if you use the script in the head, it doesn't work because the DOM has loaded before the script. To fix this use: window.onload = function() { //codes here } This will ensure the script is also loaded while in the head.
