There alot of different ways to do this game. Me personally I grab all my trucks cash. Rather have a Maintenance bill than a truck note and still have a maintenance bill and for dudes always talking that warranty ish you will still lose alot of time and money with the warranty, the dealer puts trucks coming in for warranty work at the back of the line. When I was company and my truck went down it would lay up in the dealership for 2 weeks before they even got to it not to mention when there's a down turn in the market you can just park your equipment where if you have a brand new 200k truck with high monthly payments you might just go outta business.

@Life with Frank Nitty I mean that really depends on what you financed it for and what the interest rate is. I buy all pre emissions trucks because 90 percent of the time the only thing putting these trucks in the shop is the DPF system so I'm not sure if the same strategy will work with a emissions truck. Friend of mine tried to do what I do with a 2013 Freight and it almost put him outta business because DPF had him living in the shop. If you have a low monthly payment I say just ride it out. It's better to have that cash on hand in times like this rather than pay that truck off.
