I am a clean trucker it bothers me also to have clutter and filth. I feel it's a clear reflection on myself on how my self and my truck looks and in general I am a orderly clean person I like to know what I have and we're it is when I need it if I'm looking for something. I keep things simple by cleaning after myself instead of letting it accumulate. Love you

I used to get ice from places I stop, until I got an instant ice maker from Wally World, makes 26 pounds an hour. Takes up about as much space as a pressure cooker, but you don’t ever have to find ice. One of the best things I’ve bought

Well I don’t Have to worry about A Sleeper in My Truck because I don’t Have One. I get a Motel room Every Night but I do use Clorox or Lysol Wipes to Clean My Steering Wheel and Dashboard. And keep my little Waste Basket and empty it out when I’m Fueling up at A Truck Stop or at a Rest stop where they Have a Dumpster or Garbage Can.

yes it truly is especial with a company think about it by the time ur done leasing look at the miles u have on the engine and truck wear and tear and wat the company will do as long as you still with them is put you in another truck now your back to square one never jump out of training striaght to lease purchase always use the company trucks stack u som chips first are work for the company while ur truck is still setting and just make payments while its on the lot come out much better its not a bad thing to lease very good but u dont wanna ruined your truck wen you dont have the title to it but everybody has there own way wish u all the best luck and success in your trucking career

The rule is you're not supposed to run under the same company you lease from...if you can help it.

@@TylerRushMcMahan Running for the same company you lease from arguably puts you at a disadvantage. This applies mostly to these larger companies; you're going to be limited when it comes to revenue. That company has to ensure everyone at the table gets a share. Starting out, you're not going to have much option but to work for the same company because you're inexperienced. I went from running under Primes authority to pulling JB Hunt trailers and the experience was night/day. Did some other power only gigs with that same truck and it was just nothing but eye-opening experiences. So, in my opinion one of the biggest reasons other than pay is you're going to end up with a limited scope of experience and opportunities.

@@TylerRushMcMahan Run as an IC to get that experience and again with Prime, you're going to get a piece of what being an owner operator is like but not in it's entirety. You're going to hear people make the claim you have 100% control over your business there but, you really don't. Prime's a good place to start and get your foot in the door but, that's it. Once you hit the ceiling in terms of what's possible and your goals, you'll know it's time to bounce. When I was at JB Hunt, I could see the entire load board but, with Prime, you're limited to what your fleet manager makes available to you. The fundamental lessons I learned at Prime came in handy when I left to go elsewhere.
