Did you know? This year-2021-, is the 20th anniversary of this song with GUITARFREAKS 5th mix and drummania 4th mix. And that was mine, this song is still the best of the best BENAMI song of all-time since this song released. I just, thanks to Hirofumi Sasaki all respect. I still remember that time I played drummania. 100sec, Sketchbook, Concertino, Timepiece and Departure, all songs that Mr. Sasaki composed.

Someday the GUITARFREAKS'N drummania series will end but Hirofumi Sasaki always will be remembered as the greatest of all time, I think.

A good amount of the composition for the song is an interpretation (or cover) of ELP's "Karn Evil 9," Sasaki uses tons of riffs and passages from it to build this song. So it's not entirely just his creation, though he does make them his own, but this wasn't something just entirely dreamed up in his head. All of his songs generally reference or borrow from classical music or older prog music of some kind, but he definitely brought them to Bemani in his own (very great) way.

Just had this same moment of enlightenment after being told that Tanaka borrowed Karn for Chill in Dr Mario. Even funnier moment is that I googled Dolphin from PlayOnline (ffxi) amd get Karn vibes from that as well.

I only know a little about ELP ("Tarkus", "Trilogy" and "Karn Evil 9") but this makes me wanna discover a bit more about this trio. Also, I've just discovered that this piano phrase just before the beginning of the 265bpm part, at 2:49, is taken straight from ELP's "Trilogy".

@EugeOrochi To answer the question more thoroughly if you notice the time ends at around 5:33 convert that to seconds and it would equal 333. Same with the least 100 seconds which is about 1:40 long.

XD Least 333 has Least 100 in it plus more, but there are slight differences in parts of the songs (such as Least 100 and Least 333 having one same part, but played differently). I'm not entirely sure about it, tbh. :D

@MercuryCode1 1 minute = 60 seconds. 5 minutes and 55 seconds = 355 seconds != 333 seconds = 5 minutes and 33 seconds.

...I'll clarify something here... 333 seconds = 5.55 minutes. Or, for you mathematicians, 5 + 55/100 minutes. Or 555/100 minutes. And *none* of these are 5:55, like Will said.

Let us do some math everybody! One minute is 60 seconds, two minutes are 120 seconds and so on. With each minute you add another 60 seconds. Now a video six minutes long would be exactly 360 seconds. Since this video is roughly 5 minutes and 35 seconds long, you minus the 360 by 25 seconds, thus making 335 seconds. If you want to put this literally, this video's real name should be The Least 335 seconds, but let's not be anal about it. At least they tried to do their math right with the title.
