PSA: Reminding people that singers are not robots, their voices are in better condition some days than others, sometimes they have colds or vocal fatigue from performing back to back, or they struggle to sing while doing choreo, and that one bad performance doesn’t mean they can’t sing or they use autotune the rest of the time. Be kind to artists and understand they are not perfect. This is the beauty of live performances.

YEZ OMFG. I’ve worked on my voice since I was a kid, but there are definitely “good” singing days and “bad” singing days for me. Like one day I could belt out a musical theatre piece, and then the next day it just doesn’t work out. And sometimes my operatic voice is the only voice I can do, I also got a “pop” voice and a musical theatre one.

Tension happens when you don’t use a good approach to notes you would already normally be able to hit or don’t allow yourself to the proper breath to hit the notes. Ariana has moments of tension or vocal cracks but to say strain is a stretch. She nearly Never strains because she sticks with notes she knows she can hit until she is comfortably able to go higher

As a profressional singer: she would be able to sing those notes perfectly clear and even better if she had her head down and not up, got her brows up and didn't frown. It may sound weird to you but thise are actually game changers in singing. I will never understand why singers make it more complicated for themselves just so it looks "cooler". I would rather hear better singing than see this, idk how to call it, "cool look" EDIT: Of course we all have better and worse days, after hours of singing Ariana can be tired, she is also a human and it is okay. There are many different details which can affect singing, but I just eanted to share my knowledge and what I noticed in here.
