It seems you are a perfectionist, like me. For people like us there is no perfection, we will always see flaws in our work. Our great satisfaction comes from seeing improvement from one project to the next. Whoever receives your work will only see the beauty not the flaws, be happy that you are the type of craftsman that can do the same project several times and still receive happiness from it. It is a blessing not a curse! Thanks for sharing your art

Hi. So many things i want to say but most are covered in comments. I will say you seem to have "old school" knowledge in your work. I love that , as I am old school with new techniques added all the time. Which is why i love your work so much. I learned some things from you. Thank you HAKU.👌

Beautiful, good to see all spec of materials and tools
Great work!

It's not difficult if you make one. The next one will be ok or perfect. This type of popular In Japan(extra coin box). I observed most commercial guys make a maximum of 3-4 items and use die to cut the leather that saves them time and use mostly sewing machine. Some only handstitched the main outer panel. Your design is in detail, but I have the similar one, which is a simple design(taken from youtube).
Best video I have watched .Can you share pdf please

Thank you for your comment. This pattern is too complicated to publish, so I would like to publish it after improving more.

Sometimes using cork on back side while pressing awl thru holes keeps them open by creating a cleaner more open hole. (not always thou). Just a sugestion😉
@haku-handmadeleatherworks-57653 жыл бұрын
I've ever seen the method in a video by Korean creator. Using cork is helpful and certainly safer.👍
Thank you for your comment. sorry. It's so complicated that I haven't prepared it for publication. I would like to release something a little more sophisticated in the future.

Nice wallet...but that edge paint just ruined it. It spoils the whole look of the wallet, and makes it look cheap. Why would you do that? It would have looked MUCH better (and more professional) if you'd burnished the edges instead.
