In my country I found something similar to "Bontex" called "industrial fiber" or also "cellulose insole". But I think I will use "leather paper" which is made from the remains of leather fibers - it is cheap and widely used in the industry here. Thank you very much for the precious tips.
Saya pun tengah belajar membuat kerajinan kulit, semangat terus ya

Thank you for sharing, I use Affinity Designer to draw my pattern

Thank you for your comment. I didn't know the software called affinity designer until now. Drawing software is also convenient for making paper patterns😆

I use affinity too, though I need to work out a good way of making this zip ruler with it as well as stitch spacing.

Good afternoon! You have very good videos on working with the skin! There is a request... Is it possible to release THIS video with English voice acting?
@haku-handmadeleatherworks-57652 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I glad if my video could help you. English voice...Sorry but I'm not good at English.😓 If I make a lot of money on KZbin, I want to hire a multilingual narrator.😁

KZbin. I wish I could speak Russian. sorry. The accuracy of translation may be a little unacceptable, but try KZbin automatic translation.

Good explanation, but you have to know use of CAD or Adobe or other software to design it. I can learn, but do not have energy. I saw one the Korean guy made mold just from scrapped cardboard gluing together and other guy saw made of thick leather gluing teach others.

Thank you for your comment. I originally use CAD to make paper patterns, so this method is easier for me than making templates.

What is that software you are using?
@haku-handmadeleatherworks-57654 жыл бұрын
I use a free Japanese CAD software called JW-CAD. It has been around for a very long time and although it's not 3D, it's useful for me.

@haku-handmadeleatherworks-57654 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to the line I'm drawing at around 5:30 minutes? The line dented by 6mm from the edge is the core material. This core material is used as a guide for the margin to attach the fastener.

@haku-handmadeleatherworks-57654 жыл бұрын
These lines are drawn in the process of marking the core material and have no particular meaning. As long as the markings are made as shown in the 16:05 diagram, it''s OK.
